Léo Schellens earns ISO 9001 certificate

On 30 August 2007, Léo Schellens b.v. earned the ISO 9001 certificate for their quality management system. The quality certification applies to the company?s entire scope of activities and processes and serves to document that Léo Schellens b.v.

meets the requirements set by the ISO 9001 standard. Basically, what this means is that Léo Schellens b.v. is engaged in quality management (concern, control and guarantee) in a predetermined and structured manner.

At Léo Schellens b.v., concern for quality and good business practice has been a focal point of operations for many years. During the early Nineties, existing local government legislation and policy were transformed into feasible rules

and company environmental plans were drawn up and implemented. A concern for a more global view on the environment lead Leo Schellens to earn ISO 14001 certification several years ago. ISO 14001 is the internationally accepted standard that

applies to a company?s environmental management system.

In the years ahead, the quality system will be expanded to include occupational health and safety management, thus becoming a fully integrated quality, occupational health and afety, and environmental management system.
